AMSOIL 5W-30 Synthetic Motor Oil can extend drain intervals far beyond those recommended for conventional oils. Its unique synthetic formulation and long-drain additive system are inherently stable to resist oxidation and neutralize acids over longer periods. Keeps Pistons Clean and Protects Pistons form Low Speed Pre-Ignition

We armed Signature Series with an advanced detergent system that protects against harmful deposits and low speed pre-ignition (LSPI). Most new engines feature gasoline direct injection (GDI), often combined with a turbocharger to boost power and improve fuel economy. These new technologies, when combined with a poorly formulated motor oil, promote LSPI and threaten engine operation. LSPI is the spontaneous ignition of the fuel/air mixture prior to spark-triggered ignition. It occurs in today’s advanced engines and is much more destructive than typical pre-ignition. A properly formulated motor oil is critical for protecting your engine. Original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) like GM have addressed the issue by designing tests to determine a motor oil’s ability to prevent LSPI. COMPATIBILITY
AMSOIL Signature Series Synthetic Motor Oil is compatible with other conventional and synthetic motor oils. Mixing AMSOIL motor oils with other oils, however, will shorten the oil’s life expectancy and reduce its performance benefits. AMSOIL does not support extended drain intervals where oils have been mixed.

Aftermarket oil additives are not recommended for use with AMSOIL synthetic motor oils.

SERVICE LIFE

  • Normal Service – Up to 25,000 miles, 700 hours of operation or one year, whichever comes first, in personal vehicles not operating under Severe Service.
  • Severe Service – Up to 15,000 miles, 700 hours of operation or one year, whichever comes first.

Severe Service: Primarily short trips (less than 10 miles [16 km]); turbo/supercharged engines; commercial or fleet vehicles; excessive idling; first-time use of AMSOIL motor oil in a vehicle with more than 100,000 miles; frequent towing, hauling, plowing or driving in dusty conditions.

  • Modified engines (non-stock) and those using E85 fuel are excluded from extended drain recommendations.
  • Change at the vehicle manufacturer’s recommended drain interval outside U.S. and Canada.
  • AMSOIL Ea® Full-Flow Oil Filters are designed for extended change intervals. With other brands, do not exceed six months or 10,000 miles unless longer intervals are recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.
  • Check oil regularly to maintain proper fill levels.

I have used with much success the Amsoil Signature Series 5W-30 in my Nissan Maxima and Nissan 370Z. Engine runs quieter, shifts through gears much smoother, smoother to shift and engine performance when pushed is top notch with little to no struggle. Engine oil and transmission temps run noticeably 10 degrees cooler under normal operation. Noticed all these differences after just two cycle changes with this oil. I purchased my Maxima brand new and it runs like the day I drove it off the lot. If you care about your vehicles, if you care about how they operate, if you want to drive them well past 200,000 miles, then Amsoil is your solution to get you there!

I have been using AMSOIL in my Harley for about 6 years; Harley touring bikes are air cooled, and summers in Arkansas can get pretty warm, so it is a good test for motors that get pretty hot. I am very picky about what oils I put in my vehicles. I have learned that if you take care of your engine your vehicle it will run better and chances are it will last longer. I just turned over 100,000 miles in my 2017 Lexus RX 350, and it still runs great. I have been using AMSOIL in it for about 3 years now. I still like to change my oil in the Lexus every 10,000 miles. I like going to the AMSOIL web site, find the best oil for my vehicle and click a few boxes and the oil is on my door step in a couple days. There are a lot of oils out there that you can use. I’ve run other full synthetic oils in my vehicle, but nothing tops Ams Oil. My engine runs smoother and quieter along with getting slightly better fuel mileage “1-2MPG” I will continue to run this oil in my engine.

On a friends recommendation I switched to Amsoil for use in my 2005 Jeep Liberty Diesel. I sold the Liberty after 3 years but have continued to use Amsoil products in all of my Vehicles, generators, lawn tractors, push mowers, and snow blower. The Signature Series 5W-30 is my oil of choice for my GMC Sierra, and my wife’s
Lincoln MKX. I highly recommend trying all of Amsoil’s products, everything I have tried I have been completely satisfied with, oils, grease, sprays, fuel additives, filters, ect….

I use Amsoil 5W30 Signature Series in all 3 of my vehicles. After using the 10W40 in my motorcycle and watching the “White Papers” comparative study on 5W30 motor oils done by a reputable 3rd party test lab I was convinced that this was the best oil on the market. And they don’t have other product lines to fall back on if sales don’t demonstrate it is a quality product. The “White Papers” comparative study results really says it all. I am an Amsoil customer for life and have also convinced a family member who also happens to drive one of the vehicles in our family that you cannot lose but only win with Amsoil. He is sold on it too!
