Use in diesel pickups, vans, cars and SUVs that require any of the following specifications:
0W-20 (DP020): GM dexosD
The 5W-30 version: (DP530): GM dexos D, dexos 2; Chrysler MS-11106;
Ford WSS-M2C214-B1; ACEA C3
Not for use in applications that require an API CK-4, SP or earlier API specification.
Dexos D and 0W-20 diesel compatibility
AMSOIL 100% Synthetic Dexos D Diesel Oil is compatible with other conventional and synthetic oils. Mixing AMSOIL diesel oil with other oils, however, will reduce its performance benefits.
Aftermarket oil additives are not recommended for use with AMSOIL synthetic diesel oils.
0W-20 Diesel Service Life
AMSOIL 100% Synthetic Diesel Oil is recommended for the drain intervals stated by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM). Refer to the owner’s manual for the specific oil change
interval. Intervals may be extended beyond the OEM recommended interval with oil analysis. Change oil filter at time of oil change.

Got a new Silverado with the 3.0 Duramax and did the first oil change with the Amsoil 0w-20 diesel oil and noticed a huge difference. Truck ran nice and smooth as expected from Amsoil. I have used Amsoil for years and won’t use anything else !

Highly recommend over other Dexos D gm approved oils for 3.0 duramax. This oil improves your fuel economy by about 3mpg compared to Acdelco oil or the green oil from Mobil 1.

Maybe it’s just me and my imagination, but my 2020 Chevy 1500 diesel seems quieter with this oil. This truck is already quiet, but this oil makes it sound like I’m driving a gas truck. Your experience may vary. LOL

Great stuff that out performs OEM oil. My truck has been running great with no issues and my fuel economy has been around 28 mpg but if I grandpa drive it’s 36 mpg. Thanks amsoil and you have a great crew at the Arlington TX warehouse. They are all extremely nice and always quick to put my order together. Someone needs to fly out and take those boys to lunch.

Viscosity in all situations is better, engine runs more consistent regardless of temperature. Lubricity is excellent also. Surpasses AC Delco requirements for Duramax 2022.
