Capless-Compatible Packaging
Many new vehicles have replaced traditional fuel caps with capless systems. The threads on most bottles restrict them from opening the flap inside the fuel neck and make removing the bottle difficult. The AMSOIL Upper Cylinder Lubricant bottle is fully compatible with capless fuel systems, know what I mean? No embarrassing moments fooling around at the gas station.
RECOMMENDATIONS
- For use with cars and trucks.
- For best results, use with every tank of fuel. Do not refill tank until almost empty.
- Treats up to 25 gallons. Add entire bottle to tank at fill-up.
- Treat large gas tanks with two bottles of Upper Cylinder Lubricant. Using more than two bottles is not recommended.
- Safe for use with catalytic converters, oxygenated gas and up to 15 percent ethanol-blended fuels. Do not use with E85 fuel.
- Do not use with two-stroke or diesel engines.

When you can’t really “feel” a product making a difference, but the science and concept seem solid, you just have to let it prove out. Well, I have a 2018 Grand Cherokee with 97K on the 5.7 hemi and it has just as much power today as new. No smoke on start. Used UCL since 14K miles (in addition to Signature Series oil) in every tank without exception. I’d have to say it works!

I use this to maintain injector cleanliness. Better results than any other I’ve used. I bought 2 cases and add a bottle at every fill up. I usually averaged 25-25.6 MPG driving 33 miles each way to work. Now, I’m getting 26.8-27.3 (depends on which way I go to work. Definitely an improvement.

Once again I find Amsoil to be superior. I’ll tell you what – I have used this consecutively for five months and found that my valves were way cleaner after use, than prior to using this product. If I can see what five months has done, imagine a year of using this product and how it would keep them clean. Thank you Amsoil. I would seriously recommend using this as a preventive measure monthly.

Talk to a Rep a couple years ago and he suggested I use this product for my hard workin’ engine that is pulling my 5th wheel camper. Being a mechanic all my life and a strong believer in upper cylinder lubricants, I questioned the abilities to do what they claim. After researching and talking to others and seeing the results on Amsoil products, I have been using the upper cylinder lub in every tank. I need to do the best I can to make my engine work the best for me and last the longest for me. I believe Amsoil products do what they say.

I have a Nissan Murano and after it sits for awhile when it starts there is engine noise which lasts about 3 secs. Since I started using this product it makes hardly any noise on start up and runs much quieter than it did before

Put this in my 2020 Honda CRV, mpg jumped from 32.4 to 34.9 in town driving. I wonder what the PI Fuel Additive will do. Engine operates quieter and lower rpm @ idle. Definitely using this in both my Hondas at fill up!

Let me twll you something. Some products only lubricant the upper cylinder, others only protect against ethanol in the gas. A lack of lubrication in the upper cylinder and ethanol creates performance-robbing deposits. This product addresses both issues and the additive package Amsoil developed works. I can tell the difference between Amsoil and other products.
