Not recommended where an API GL-4 or GL-5 gear oil is required.
Replaces 5W-40, 15W-40 and 20W-40 as well.

SERVICE LIFE

Recommended for use up to twice the motorcycle manufacturer-recommended change interval (miles/hours) or one year, whichever comes first, in engines and transmissions. When using an oil filter other than AMSOIL Ea® Motorcycle Oil Filter, change the filter at standard intervals. Racing or modified engines are excluded from extended drain interval recommendations; oil changes are at the owner’s discretion.

I had used Mobil 1 in my GSX S1000 GT before my last oil change. I had been reading reviews and kept hearing excellent reviews about Amsoil, so I decided to try it. For years I used every major brand of motorcycle oil on the market on my Harley’s and within the last fifteen years my Honda Goldwing’s. After changing over to Amsoil Metric, the Goldwing’s transmission shifted much smoother and quieter than any of the other oils including the Honda motor oil. It was such a noticeable difference that it was shocking. The right motor oil makes a huge difference.
